Mr. Wallach is the Chair of the Appellate Advocacy Committee of the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section. Prior to that, he served as Program Chair, Membership Chair and Vice-Chair of that Committee. Mr. Wallach is also a member of the board of directors of the Federal Bar Association’s Broward County Chapter. He previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of the South Broward Bar Association. Mr. Wallach is also a volunteer attorney with Mission United Veterans Pro Bono Project, which provides free legal services to income-eligible military members, veterans and their families. In such capacity, Mr. Wallach successfully represented a Broward County military veteran who was wrongfully deprived federally-funded food stamps. As a result of Mr. Wallach’s effort, the state agency responsible for administering the food stamps program agreed to settle the claim for nearly 100 cents on the dollar. Mr. Wallach also serves as a volunteer attorney with the Lawyers Committee on Human Rights, representing persons seeking political asylum. He also handled matters on a pro bono basis for the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
