Well well well. A new Office Naps psychedelic pop mix. Do wonders ever cease? This is the sixth of these, and the first in six years, and it skews subtly ...

The original 10" edition had eight tracks. [7] Goomba Boomba , Cha Cha Gitano and Carnavalito Boliviano were added for the 1955 lp edition. [8]

This double CD is a down-for-double delight...booklet is an example of how all such re-issue documentation ought to be: enlightening yet concise, with a sparkling mix of disc labels, vintage photos, sheet music and posters. It’s easily readable and well laid-out...Big Noise From Winnetka has never sounded so hi-fi...a delight throughout, this 2-disc conurbation of how many of our solid sender faves embraced the South American influence. It’s varied in artists and moods..most of it really swings too. And the whole package costing less than most single CDs. Ay-Ay!

By 1955, the 10" format was falling rapidly into disfavor with consumers, relative to the 12" format which usually contained four more songs. Although 10" albums were still issued (until #627 in late 1955, anyway), the 12" format quickly rose to take over. Most of the items on this page were released in 12" format, except where noted.
